Well this is one job that finished with a bang!

We thought the producer was joking when he asked if we could drop a Lada from the bottom of a helicopter for James May's Cars of the People series. What we didn't know was the Lada's forbearer, the Fiat 127, arrived by parachute in the 1960s to a fanfare. So we decided to drop it's reincarnation from 500 ft, we even heard it hit the ground from inside the helicopter, and yes it did leave a dent in the ground.
