Wild Weather, the BBC's three part series asked us to weigh a cloud. Like you, we were thinking how on earth are they going to do that? Three helicopters later and we were flying Richard Hammond with a large cotton wool bud aka " the sky sponge" 75 ft under one of our machines to dip it into a cloud. 

Did it work? Well yes, the cotton wool bud did get wet, as to how much it actually weighed well we are not sure on the maths...
